St. Thomas ACK Kerugoya Cathedral was established, becoming the Bishop's Seat and the spiritual anchor of Kirinyaga County.
The congregation grew rapidly as the cathedral deepened its outreach programmes, establishing fellowship groups, youth ministries, and educational initiatives.
New ministry departments were launched including a dedicated women's guild, men's fellowship, and a thriving Sunday school.
A major building expansion project was completed, providing a larger sanctuary and additional facilities for community programmes.
